Footgolf part 1

I’m going to be playing footgolf soon with a few friends and I just know, I feel it in my bones, with 100% certainty that it’s going to get competitive.

Which I don’t want.

I’d prefer a friendly light hearted game so I can have an enjoyable afternoon.

I’m not going into the reasoning behind competitiveness that’s for another blog post.

I’ll be dedicating today’s post to the recording of my hypothesis.

I shall then follow up in a day’s time to relay the results and my reflections.

So I hypothesize that if I go into the day’s activities unprepared then I will inevitably get caught up in the race to finish first.

But if I set myself my own goals and decide what game I’m playing beforehand I’ll have a much better chance of enjoying myself.

In other words reject the titanic battle to prove oneself.

Maybe I’ll try and win the ‘wackiest shot of the day’ award or play the whole course with my weaker foot or aim to come dead last or see how many trees I can hit or bunkers I can land in or putt with my head instead of my foot!

I’m not sure yet, but I’ll let you know how I get on!

To be continued…
