No hedging of bets

A bold notion crosses your mind.

A risky direction.

A route fraught with failure.

If done right it could be spectacular.

But to reach ‘remarkable’ status I think there can be no holding back. No hedging of bets. Its all or nothing.

It’s an entire presentation in lederhosen or not a scrap of it.

It’s a painting done 100% in mayonnaise or none at all.

To do 50% normal and 50% bold is to increase the chance of failure.

What if halfway through filming Pirates of the Caribbean Johnny Depp decided he was sick of playing Jack Sparrow as eccentric and from now on he would be portrayed as incredibly boring?

As soon as we figured out this wasn’t part of the story we would think Johnny extremely lazy, or scared.
