As adults we have to agonise over the phrasing to make sure we don’t offend whilst indulging our curiosities.
But the child has no such fears. The child stares inquisitively unashamedly.
I have to say I’m jealous.
As adults we don’t freak out. We allow them to stare intensely. They’re just a child after all.
