Unashamed curiosity

As adults we have to agonise over the phrasing to make sure we don’t offend whilst indulging our curiosities.

But the child has no such fears. The child stares inquisitively unashamedly.

I have to say I’m jealous.

As adults we don’t freak out. We allow them to stare intensely. They’re just a child after all.
I have to admit I’m jealous. If ever I’m people watching I have to expend a lot of effort ensuring I’m not detected.
