I think people should be forced together more often.
Consider today’s world…
Striking up an innocent conversation with a total stranger is considered psychotic.
If we were minding our own business and an interaction was forced on us we would instantly think STRANGER DANGER, what does this person want and how can I get away as quickly as possible?
Furthermore building a bond strong enough to form a lasting relationship based on small talk in a bar is nearly impossible and rarely attempted.
However, when it comes to work you are lumped together with random strangers who, at first meeting, might seem weird and annoying.
But you are forced to spend a huge amount of time together, even more time than with your loved ones.
During these lengthy periods these random strangers start to grow on you.
They slowly but surely change in front of your eyes from odd to funny and from weird to quirky.
You find yourself caring about them and genuinely interested in their weekends until eventually you become friends.
People should be forced together more!
