The interviewer was wise and knew the weakness he wanted to probe.
He proceeded to bombard the interviewee with enough quick fire questions until he provoked an answer that left the interviewee dumbfounded.
Not for a lack of answers or confusion but because of what the interviewee replied with.
The interviewee would not have believed it if everyone else in the world told him but since the answer came out of his own mouth it felt true.
The interview was over.
The interviewer had successfully poked the targeted nerve and left the interviewee with a lot to think about.
