Person research

I think the specialness of an interview is lost on a celebrity.

So much of their lives are out in the public domain that it’s not surprising when an interviewer has done their research.

In fact a celebrity would likely get annoyed if the interviewer did not do their research.

But if someone took the time and effort to do such research into a normal person for the purpose of an interview or even getting to know them better then I think the lay person would find it extremely flattering.

The gesture says:

Hey, I see you and let’s shine a spotlight on the good things you’ve done

And being seen is what many (if not all) of us crave.
