Last phone calls

I think if you were ever looking for a north star on the important things in life.

Then you should watch the 9/11 documentary.

In particular the two phone calls from the US citizens facing their imminent death.

One man trapped above the plane crash in one of the two towers telling his wife that he loved her so much.

The other, a woman on United 93 calling her sister to tell her she loves her very much and to pass on the message to their parents.

They didn’t spend those precious moments explaining what to do with their finances or to have one last argument over the cleanliness of the kitchen.

It was an emphasis and reassurance of love.
