Rationalizing the human condition

I think as a species we have an innate desire to rationalize behaviour. It's the only way we can make sense of the human condition. When we hear wildly shocking behaviour, finding out why it happened is the crucial factor to determine whether we are damning or sympathetic.

Solve my problems

If you want your problems taken away from you, don't lean into the dip, don't clear your schedule, just talk loudly about them near someone who can't help solving problems. Then boom, they're taken care of for the measly fee of over the top gratitude πŸ˜›

Ghost bridge

The phrase: "If everyone jumped off a bridge would you join them?" is a great parallel to the troubling rise of ghosting. Just because rudeness is becoming more acceptable doesn't mean you should do it too.
