It could be an overstatement to say but I think society in Ireland has largely done away with obvious forms of sexism. I'm not saying there is gender equality. Now it's just subtler and it's in the small actions that it rears its ugly head.

I think the best teachers are good at finding out your competency level and then leaving sufficient breadcrumbs to get you to the desired level. It requires patience and empathy and a teacher that will guide you through that journey is worth their weight in gold Because unfortunately, not everyone has these qualities.
