Tiny habits

At the end of the day when John gets undressed he hangs his shirt up and folds his pants and places them into his cupboard.

Jerry on the other hand, at the end of a day, will throw his dirty clothes onto the ground. Everyday, without even thinking about it.

This means that Jerry consistently can’t find the clothes he’s looking for. His clothes usually have dust on them and he can’t see his bedroom floor for all the clothes on it.

This tiny differentiation has become an automatic behavior for both guys and ends up making a big impact.

The 30 seconds that John spends daily putting away his clothes means he avoids what Jerry has to do once a month. Which is spend roughly an hour trying to clean his room. Furthermore, the sight of the huge pile discourages Jerry from starting and his problem exacerbates.
