Arguers love subjective matters. The absence of what is considered a ‘right’ answer provides endless possibility for debate. A question simply answered by a Google search (such as – what is the capital of France) does not interest arguers. That sort of question has a quick resolution, the answer is found swiftly and there is no opportunity for discussion.
Arguers see debates over opinionated matters as a chance to display their intelligence and potentially win over the opposition.
Whilst non-arguers, noticing the lack of a ‘right’ answer and therefore an end, view subjective arguments as a futile exercise and choose to conserve their energy for more pressing matters.
