Gilbert loves planning. He regularly draws up weekly, monthly and yearly plans.
Unfortunately Gilbert also suffers from a fatal flaw, he cannot resist the nearest and loudest emergency that inevitably comes up every day.
His inability to sacrifice the short term task to pursue his long term goals means that he never gains forward motion on any of his plans. It is such an incessant issue that when he talks about his plans his peers dismiss it as wishful thinking. They entertain his notions but know deep down that these ‘plans’ are nothing more than hopes and it’s only a matter of time before they end up in the project graveyard.
