The latest Star Wars movie comes out in December and I can’t wait to see it.
The teasers have played their role brilliantly, they alluded to action whilst not revealing the whole story and it’s done a job on me. It’s created a desire and a need in me, namely: I need to know what happens!
This need to know, this impatience with uncertainty reveals a very human need for resolution. And in this case the only cure for all this tension is to watch the movie.
The tension creates audience members who will be beside themselves with excitement watching the movie.
This isn’t specific to star wars either. The human desire for resolution is the main driver behind nearly every mysterious story/behaviour/problem.
