The TB12 method

I’ve been reading Tom Brady’s book ‘The TB12 method’ and even if I never implement any of the recommendations, it has impressed upon me Brady’s commitment to being the best.

He wears ‘bioenergetic’/’bioceramic’ apparel to bed to maximise his sleep.

In a lasagne, he’ll replace the cheese with a kind of cashew mix, instead of mince meat he uses ‘walnut meat’ and the pasta element is swapped out for vegetable slices to maximise the nutritional value from the meal.

He limits his intake of mushrooms and tomatoes because although they are vegetables they are not optimised for reducing muscle inflammation.

He plays mind games to improve his pattern recognition.

He uses resistance bands instead of weights and aims to make practice as close to game scenarios as possible.

Brady leaves no stone unturned.

He has looked into every aspect that influences his career and has a strategy to maximise the benefits for each.

His dedication to being the best really is quite admirable.
