One of the biggest frustrations of this pandemic is governments limiting the public’s freedom.
From the protests and angry mobs it’s clear – freedom is very important to people.
And yet freedom can be a burden too.
All too often I find myself working my butt off during the week, living for the weekend and when it finally arrives blanking on how to spend the time and settling for chores, social media and TV I’ve already seen before.
Then schedule me for in an existential crisis on a Sunday evening for how I’ve wasted my free time and let the madness repeat itself all over again.
I think fulfilling free time requires thought and planning and goals.
Ticking chores off the to do list is somewhat satisfying but changing lightbulbs does not compare to spending the day at the beach.
