For not to

Tony Robbins often says ‘Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.’ and I think what this word play alludes to is difficulty.

It’s very easy to play the victim card to life’s random events bemoaning your luck and how bad things always happen to you.

But if you say ‘Life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.’ you look at the world with opportunity lenses on.

Someone is taking advantage of your kind nature? An opportunity to stand up for yourself.

Overwhelmed with work? An invitation to trust and delegate!

Plagued with injuries? A chance to read up on injury prevention!

An easy to remember subtle nudge towards positivity and away from victim hood.

That’s my 14 minutes for the day, hope you find it useful! Peace!
