You know your stand up set didn’t quite hit the mark when the first thing an audience member says is:
‘That’s a great jacket you’re wearing!’
Yes it can be disappointing that they didn’t like the jokes you told but on the bright side at least they care enough about your feelings to find something to complement you on!
