The first hour at the beach is all about set up.
You’re concerned with finding the right spot, who’s watching you getting changed, are the valuables well hidden and are the towels sufficiently pinned down?
The second hour is all about reminders. Reminders to hang out the laundry before you go to sleep and pick up milk on the way home.
Then in the third hour, whilst surrendering to the boredom, we reach peaceful lethargy.
We’re doing very little and loving it.
We’re finally revelling in the fact that we don’t have to do anything and don’t have to be anywhere.
Now this timeframe is not a guarantee for reaching peaceful lethargy.
If you’re particulary addicted to the pace of the rat race it might take longer but keep at it because the destination is worth it.
