Weekly resolutions
Tis the season for new years resolutions and I would like to argue for more regular goal setting. Because it's hard to predict the future. Who knows what 2026 holds? I had no idea of the rollercoaster ride I was in for at the start of last year and I think context needs to be … Continue reading Weekly resolutions
Arguing to win
The less convinced they sound, the harder you try. The more they dig in, the more they dig in. You start to get louder and aim to set logic traps for them. Overacting

It turns out to be fake as when Connie suggests leaving, Jane springs up from the couch and heads straight to the door. It didn't appear to be a joke, this seemed … Continue reading Overacting
Autonomy or interfering
On the one hand you don't want to be an interfering person but on the other hand it's painful to watch a loved one slowly walk to their doom. What's more, the best change happens when the individual wants to change for themselves. Very little progress happens when you force them into it. It's a … Continue reading Autonomy or interfering
The battle of egos
This was not an argument to understand each other's points of view. This is a challenge to make the other side admit how intelligent you are. Nobody's listening, everybody's making the same points louder and louder.
